Capt. Karty has been a full time Captain in Mosquito Lagoon since 1992.  We have many wonderful clients who keep coming back, year after year, for Karty’s services, for his personality, and for his patience. 

You will feel safe in our boat and secure under the Captain’s direction.  You will have your needs met while in his care.  You will have an umbrella if you need a break from the sun or shelter from a shower.  

Karty will do everything he can to insure that you will have the fishing experience.  He wants you to feel the thrills.  He isn’t charging you to watch him fish. 

He takes out novices and provides an introduction to flats fishing.  Many have never fished before and he tries to work with those who are interested in improving their casting skills.  He will cast for anglers if he feels he must but generally he would rather they have the experience themselves. 

You can take a lady out with Capt. Karty and know she will have a great time.  If a guy is taking a lady out on a fishing trip, he wants her to have an enjoyable experience.  He knows that if she doesn’t, she will hesitate the next time.

Your fish will be filleted at the end of the trip.  And it won’t be on the dock or at a cutting station where the birds and flies have been feasting.  Karty makes a sanitary area on top of his casting tower and when he fillets a fish, it is an impressive show of his skills and fun to watch.

All in all, even after all his years of fishing, he still gets excited for his anglers.

You do get what you pay for.  And you are paying for experience.   You are paying for the knowledge, expertise and skills of someone who knows how to get the fish to bite, if anyone can.
